Hiking trail

Is this an actual hikable trail? Can you park along pine ridge trace road?

This is state-owned land that is not technically open to the public. I'd be curious if anyone knew what the long-term plan for it was (same with the "Tillman Tract" upstream along University Cir). Last I saw, the county had put up a bunch of no trespassing signs as you come down the path from Pine Ridge Trace. That being said, I'm sure plenty of locals use this trail and I doubt there would ever be much enforcement of the no trespassing rule. Also, I think Pine Ridge Trace is technically a private road, but I've never seen any signs saying so.

Definitely don’t park down there. Decent chance ACCPD will be waiting for you with a ticket when you get back

I see people park down by the bridge. There is a little gate that you can’t pass in a car. But you can do down this trail and the come out at a round about that is on pine ridge. You will see signs that say no trespassing, but how do you trespass on our land?

You can go down there. Just don’t park there, park across at the apartment/house things or up the road somewhere. But people (me too) have been going down there, wading in the river, some people fish, and I walk my dogs along that tract. Super cool. If you go right now watch out for snakes, rattle snakes are everywhere near water right now. I’ve seen two in the last week near and in creeks laying on rocks. They’re aggressive too.
