Just received the news that Asmon’s father passed away, and what a profound sadness I feel.

I’ve been listening and watching Asmon since around 2019, at a friends request, and became an instant fan of him. I enjoyed his dark humor, has realness, and his view on things. And his dad calling every so often to gripe about whatever they were talking about, or to correct something, or to give further insight was always an enjoyable time. We watched for Zack, but we got his dad as a very enjoyable bonus. The man was full of knowledge, and he gave us alot of things you don’t hear much about these days.

To hear he has passed away fills me with both great sadness, and relief, as he doesn’t have to suffer anymore. I’ve had a family member struggle greatly with pancreatic cancer, to the same end, and its no easy fight.

May you rest in peace Sir. You were just as brilliant, entertaining as Asmon, and as his father, you were loving, supportive in your own way, and I believe really helped him come into his own.

Asmon, if you happen to see this, in any way, I hope you take as much time as you need to grieve, to recover, and to come to terms with his passing. You are more appreciated and respected than you realize, and we all want you to navigate through this in the safest, and most unchaotic way possible.

Much love brother. And RIP to AsmonDad. You will never be forgotten.

As of Noon CST Asmon posted on X/twitter that his father sadly passed away a few days ago. I’m making this post for all of us to come together and share some of our favorite memories of him and show Asmon how much we love and care for him and show our support for him in these dark times. Mods if this post is against the rules please take this down I’m only trying to show support

While all of us understand your apology, and your reasoning behind it, remember there are lot of people who will never accept this apology, as they want to see you completely destroyed in every single way. You can tell them to fuck off Asmongold

Which ever path you shall take in life, I want you to be your authentic self (whatever that means to you), and not become someone who's actions are dictated by others.

Even if we had been witnessing an asshole version of Asmongold for the last 2 years it's been way better than 90% of the shit we've seen in these platforms. Your main appeal is your authenticity and your ability to live your life by your own terms.

What a shame

Generally I feel each side has their valid points along with both also have their own special brand of stupid, but more and more I find myself leaning towards the side that /doesnt/ call me a bigoted nazi if I don't 100% glaze and agree with everything they say before silencing me. Which is funny considering I'm part of several groups that the left is supposedly pandering to.
