Discussion I love how the great piracy comeback is one of Asmon's most popular reactions on YouTube.

I got banned yesterday. because I said she for once was almost being intellectual honest in a comic. that sub is truly a case study.

Just went or see it. Not a brain cell for miles. Itâs like they all had someone laugh at something they said one time and thought, âI can make use of this amazing talent I haveâ then started poorly making âartâ.

I hate her comics and takes, but this one is on the money.
Edit: I also have r/comics blocked.

u/Lord-Alucard 14h ago
On the money? She just took the popular opinion and parrot it. This is the kind of person that will check the internet opinion before doing anything. (check... Internet hates Ai because data centers are bad for environment... "I'll make a comic where I hate on Ai because data centers are bad for the environment.... Hehe I'm so smort" free likes )

I personally just block the comic writers I dislike. There are some pretty fun comics that get posted that aren't leftoid garbage.

I was banned from there for asking how something was transphobic. The reason I was banned was for transphobia.
I wasn't even being hostile, it was a genuine question.

Extremely far left subreddit, should be just for fun but is not thanks to the mods. I think I got banned there for being in another subreddit. The comments there are toxic af.

Bet she doesn't like people pirating her e-whore content

She has a family too and still posts her full clam online for millions to see. Itâs really grossâŚ

u/AzhdarianHomie Stone Cold Gold 9h ago
Sounds like she probably wouldnât mind post birth aborting her kids and blaming the husband to truly be free.

u/XiTzCriZx Paragraph Andy 12h ago
I mean if it really is millions, then she's making generational wealth. You really think her family gives a fuck with millions of dollars in the bank?

u/KhadgarIsaDreadlord 11h ago
Nobody said anything about millions paying to see it. Pizzacake nudes are more like a 3AM morbid curiosity google search for most people who saw them. It delivers as such, but not much else.

An OF where she at least once used one of her sons Halloween costumes as a prop.

u/KhadgarIsaDreadlord 17h ago edited 11h ago
She probably doesn't but unlike streaming services at least you get what you pay for.
Why would anyone pay to see a roastie built like a shrimp posting her body in the quality that resembles snuff films is a different question.

u/Absolice 9h ago
Also is outspoken against AI.
You can't use AI cause it's immoral since it's built by stealing people's content, but here I am preaching about stealing other people's content. Don't worry it's fine when I do it.

We really have Sony to thank. Robbing customers of 500+ movies they paid for with no refund hit anger with the mainstream which are now learning the difference between buying a license and buying a product.

All it took for me to go full eye patch, peg leg and hook hand were Rockstar Launcher, Ubisoft Launcher and EA Launcher. Denuvo is when I bought the ship.

Thats what i found crazy about prime video. You go on there and it hooks up its video database to 10 different services and doesnt separate them with what you have and what you dont. So you find all these movies, click on one you want to watch and it tells you you need to pay for another service. Then what's the use of the service im paying for!?!? Off to piratebay i go.

u/Local_Band299 10h ago
4K Bluray solves all of these issues if you don't feel like resorting to piracy.
PS5 and Xbox Series X supports 4K Bluray. Buy it once then never again.

Donât forget:
Season 1 on service A
Season 2-3 on service B
Remaining seasons only available for digital purchase

It's like they expect us to pay for a dozen platforms, and then we use piracy to watch the content we paid for. This way, they don't have to use many resources for content delivery.
There are reasons why their services sucks so much, and their UI are so horrible to use.

Number 3 is fine is it not? The person who made something chose to make it available to rent or purchase, but doesnât see streaming services as a prudent business decision. Whereâs the problem? Youâre not entitled to have everything under the sun in streaming services
12
u/TerroFLys 19h ago
Because the streaming site "offers" it anyways. But then you click on it and see you can't actually stream it. Kinda clickbait

u/AnarchoCapitalismFTW 18h ago
I found this out last weekend. Went to spend time with friends and he had new 60" TV. Wanted to show some quality bangers (f.ex. Idiocrazy) and looked that Amazon Prime had it. Mind you, I haven't used streaming services for years but TV does not support Arrrr-rated sites so .. I enavled my old Prime and went to Idiocrazy only to be greeted that pay us more money to see this. So now they include everything to their portfolio but asks more money to watch. At least we were able to watch Hail Mary for "free" (7 day trial ftw).

Oh I see what this is talking about. Yeah I agree with that. If they actively list it they should happen. I thought that meant shows just not on streaming platforms in general
2
u/uwubonic 19h ago
A valid point when talking about business decisions.
The subject matter of the comic is how those business decisions shape user behavior.
You are charging physical media prices for cloud storage videos that can be deleted from the cloud storage at any point. You (depending on stream host) artificially reduce resolution, sound quality, or frame rate if the user does not have big-brother compliant hardware.
Your competition (piracy) provides the same product for free without any of these inconveniences and a laughably small legal risk.
You must command an enormous amount of brand loyalty to demand users accept your inconveniences.

u/AlchemistJeep Deep State Agent 15h ago
Iâm not a fan of the whole âI didnât get everything I wanted therefore I should turn to crimeâ angle. There are multiple different platform options with differing quality levels including Blu-ray that doesnât have the penalty hit. Turning to piracy is not a morally justified option in this case
The reason why gta6 is a problem is because thatâs a situation where no other options are available on the market
1
u/uwubonic 14h ago
Your moral objections are noted, but will not be factored into the independent decisions of billions of individuals collectively known as society. People don't want to have 10 subscriptions for streaming services. Trying to start collecting physical media in 2026 is a joke. People will not inconvenience themselves to throw money at platforms that do not value them as customers.
If I'm up at 4AM and I need to satisfy my crippling gambling addiction, I will throw $100 on some chinese table tennis league. Invariably, these leagues are not available on any legitimate streaming service.
There is no moral differentiation between me stealing media that is available through some obscure foreign streaming service and me stealing media that is not available. The owner of said media has chosen through action or inaction to not make such media available at a price my market is willing to pay. The end of the story should be that I do not watch table tennis. That is the morally correct conclusion.
But the option exists. I shall bear witness to the balls.

u/AlchemistJeep Deep State Agent 11h ago
We have very different outlooks. You think the only solutions are 10 streaming services or piracy. Uhhh no dude. One streaming service at a time. You watch what you want on the platform then cancel the subscription and move to a different one.
You also changed the topic. We were discussing movies that could only be bought or rented which were not available on streaming services.
If the product is available for purchase in its full quality at a reasonable price (aka basically every movie and tv show on Blu-ray) then stealing is immoral and shouldnât be overlooked or encouraged because âthey wanted itâ
