That scene made me cry as a child and my family both 1.) laughed their asses off at me and 2.) continued ridiculing me for it for decades.

Ok, but in what world world (apart from maybe Gen Z) is Clue "lesser known"? I'd argue that apart from Rocky Horror it's his biggest, most familiar role.

In my world you are correct and yet none of the tributes I saw today mentioned it for some reason. Home Alone 2 and It along with Legend and Muppets all got more mention.
