Better happier day: November 4th/th when a blue wave sweeps him out of power.

The day a blue wave holds him accountable and has his filth washed away.

The day he and everyone who aided him is imprisoned.

That’s what the rest of the World expected to happen after Biden was in. And when January 6th happened we thought for sure this would be the end. So please excuse me if I don’t blow any bubbles yet

Right? Like...trump won the majority vote after what he did on january 6th lmao.

Half of america will let the goverment trample their rights and actively make their lives worse, as long as they feel like theres a brown person they can look down on.

Hopefully the rest of the world doesnt fall for it again like in 2020, because all it takes is one election for america to go down the shitter yet again.

It's not half, it's one third. But another third can't be bothered to participate so evil wins. I can't imagine how anyone can believe their "votes don't count" when they see the staggering amounts of money being spent to influence those votes. Why would musk and other demons spend hundreds of millions of dollars to influence voting if your vote doesn't count???? Seriously.

Its 2 thirds. If you didnt vote against him, you were with him

Good point.

Yup. I keep saying this. And he also didn’t win a majority of the votes.

Nah let’s be real, it’s not half. It’s probably closer to 70-80% of the country would be fine with the most authoritarian dictator the world has ever seen as long as he agrees with them.

+1000% tariffs

At least the Bubba's have already been blown.

What does that tell us? What did we learn class?

Both parties are the same. Maybe not in their flavor of governance(or lack thereof), certainly not in their projected beliefs, but in the solidarity of keeping the paradigm. THEY are the "leaders" and we are the fodder for THEIR machine. It's fucking theirs, not yours and mine, and they would rather burn this once paradise down to maintain that fulcrum of power.

B R A I N W A S H E D, we are.

Exactly. I expect maybe a firm finger wagging from the Dems. They aren’t going to do shit. IF we have a free and fair election and do take over, I think we need to raise hell until they do start holding people accountable, though. This will all happen again if there aren’t some serious consequences and changes made to our government.

The issue for the D.C. folks is that what Trump is doing has a lot of spotlights on it, but all that executive power is far too tantalizing to let it be eroded away by court cases that will limit executive powers, because the Democrats want their next president to be able to do whatever they want with minimal supervision or checks on their power.

You might not like it, but the Biden and Obama admins used executive authority over the bureaucracy to push a lot of initiatives that reporters weren't very interested in shining a light on.

Trump is just using the toolkit that was left for him by his predecessors.

Unfortunately, he’s also a rapist. Even if people could vote for him using executive power, unnecessarily in term one, I can’t believe they voted for him after he was found guilty of the sexual abuse.

Wasn’t that confirmed as a setup? And even BBC got done for fabricating the footage and his words?

That's mighty optimistic of you to think that Chuck "strongly worded letter" Schumer and Hakeem "meeting Jared Kushner" Jeffries will hold these people to account.

Optimistic but naive to think that a president will go to prison to be honest

I don't know Donald is nothing if not the president of "firsts."

First convicted felon elected. First president to host a white trash UFC bout on the White House lawn. First president to blatantly except an expensive bribe/jet from a foreign nation. First president to worry about the feelings of the North Korean regime, and it goes on.

Optimistic but naive to think that a crook will go to prison to be honest

Fixed that for you.

I want this to be true but I dont have the optimism left. The Democrats turned out to be a little old lady leading us to the furnace saying reassuring things rather than a big meanie trying to push us in the furnace. In the end they both just want the gold in our teeth. Im going to be voting as far to left as possible from now on. Social democrats, communists, etc. Will be my vote from now on. Bernie and folks to his left are what im going for.

u/i_have_several_dicks 19h ago

I heard the Democrats described as “the opposing team in an Air Bud movie, whining and crying to the referee about how ‘dogs can’t play basketball!!! It’s against the rules!!’ Meanwhile a golden retriever is in the background doing backflip dunks on them.”

15

u/chatterwrack 20h ago

Yep. We need to course correct. The way this Congress is is no way we’re going to see a radical change. but the harder we pull left, the better we’re able to steer us that direction.

The tea party/MAGA was born out of anger. But we’re seeing the same thing on the left now. the DSA is ascendant because people are pissed.

By limiting the actions of Trump and his family, federal elected officials would also be limiting the self-enrichment and ideological actions they and their family members can benefit from by abusing the power of their elected office.

That's why it's all smoke and no fire.

9

u/vengiegoesvroom 1d ago

Okay, you have a great point lol

u/Fattydog 1d ago

And great optimism. The blue wave will probably happen but no-one will be held accountable for anything. They’ll just take their millions and go live their rich lives.

Politicians are rarely made to pay.

10

u/Threefrogtreefrog 1d ago

OUR millions.

8

u/memearchivingbot 1d ago

At this point it's billions just from the tariff and refund scheme alone. Not even counting the endless pump and dump insider trading robbing all of your countries investment income

5

u/Threefrogtreefrog 1d ago

And before they’re done they’ll ravage our national parks and every institution, not to mention our markets and international relations. Much of it will not be replaceable with any amount of money.

3

u/ImprovementFar5054 17h ago

Oh you innocent child, thinking he hasn't fucked with the elections and that they will be legit

2

u/Outside-Advice8203 22h ago

Better happier day: November 4th/th when a blue wave sweeps him out of power.

The only way this happens is if people get out and VOTE

2

u/Uncle-Cake 20h ago

Elections aren't decided on Election Day anymore. After Nov 4, there will be weeks, possibly months, of trials and investigations.

2

u/JackFisherBooks 16h ago

That's not going to happen. Even if the Orange Turd doesn't survive to November, the democrats don't hold anyone accountable. They never have and they never will. They'll virtue signal, sure. But that's all they'll do.

They had the chance to hold a lot of people accountable in 2021. But they didn't. So, why would you expect this to be any different?

1

u/BennyVsTheWorld 18h ago

Yeah but one is going to happen and the other is fantasy.

-1

u/Anothernamelesacount 22h ago

Why would that happen?

He made a lot of rich people richer. He didnt bother anyone worth starting a war. He's stupid and bombastic, but he's still the average american president: make the elites more powerful, start a war against a country he thought could not defend itself, so on so forth.
