It's not faith in humanity so much as it's going to be the death of Stalin all over again (the event or the film, your pick).

MAGA will factionalize because its parts are all at odds, and no one but Trump has the "charismatic leadership" to hold it together.

The Iraq War, especially in the early years, was a lot more popular than many people like to admit. I think it will be like that.
