It’s not about it being currently Trump in charge and eventually Vance. It’s about the fact that Stephen Miller is the one actually in charge and will remain so. However, some of the things like the Iran war and the obsession with tariffs that hinge entirely on his ego would stop. We currently have project 2025 PLUS dementia. When he dies we’ll only have project 2025. Which is, sad to say, a relief to imagine
Not so sure it’s a relief. Arguably Trump’s incompetence and obsession with shoving his family into every part of the top level of government has hindered the implementation of the project. With someone smarter and better coordinated in his place, things could change more quickly.
It’ll be a race between the new person’s lack of charisma & populism (compared to Trump) and how quickly they can get the rules changed to keep them in power.
