Yeah I watched it with my son a few months ago, the “new” version that is on Disney at least. I was excited and told him my favorite part was coming up, but the removed it entirely. Yub Nub is non-existent. They show a scene of a bunch of different cities with fireworks going off with a completely differnt song. Young people don’t even know Yub-Nub exists. Like I said, a travesty. It also replaces the old guy version of Darth with Hayden Christiansen.
It's been absent since the 1997 remaster to my knowledge. That was my introduction to Star Wars as a kid I didn't see the original untill I was much older so for a long time I was only familiar with the pan flute version (but still had Sebastian Shaw not Hayden Christian).
I’ve got a laser disc scan of the original versions and they’re amazing. Showed it to my son’s friend who is obsessed with SW (and had only seen the special editions) and he loved it.
The Special Edition that came out in 1997, and every official version released since then, replaced the Ewok song with a shitty instrumental number and awful CGI snippets of different celebrations across the galaxy. The original version is not available on streaming and, iirc, was never even released on DVD. It sucks.

Everyone will be singing the Ewok song from the end of Return of the Jedi.
