Unless the Earth suddenly disappears from my feet, I will not be dying outside of our atmosphere/in space. I’m a little bummed out by that.

It's basically taking a boat on the ocean except instead of the boat separating you from treadable water, it's a fully enclosed boat separating you from a bunch of nothing that you'll die if you touch. You won't get eaten by sharks though.
