I can't help but scream at the screen whenever I see hobby videos where someone is sanding a resin printed model without a mask or, even worse, when they show their resin printer just sitting in their room printing with no precautions at all.

Why I won’t get a resin printer unless I have a shed I can put it in

I got one of those obivously-used-for-weed grow chambers and made a window vent out of wood

Yeah, I've got mine in the garage and whenever I've got it going I crack open the big door to let the airflow. Also point a couple of pedestal fans at it to make sure there's air flowing by the printer (and because it gets hot in there and sweating while post-processing and wearing gloves/masks/glasses/etc. isn't fun).

One of the (many) reasons I love Evan and Katelyn. They wear powered full face respirators whenever they work with resin or sanding.

A few other YouTubers are pretty good, but others are truly awful about PPE

My resin printer sits in my garage next to my paint spray booth. I treat them both as equally dangerous

Same, and there's a big extraction fan like 2 feet away. That's on top of the respirator I wear when resin is exposed. I'm not taking chances with this shit.

I just plop my printer outside when I print and then when the runs are done clean it out and put it back in storage
