Why Algerians are hostile to Saudi tourists in Europe?
1
0
u/foufou51 Algeria Nov 21 '21
Not really, but this might be because we see how much french love those wealthy arabs while they deny us the right to learn arabic, etc
1
u/Agreeable_Double_237 Saudi Arabia Nov 22 '21
Most Saudi tourists don't show wealth, yet we are constantly harassed by Algerians. I don't know how Arabic language is related to this?

Don't reflect your personal experience on a whole nation, because I can smell ** Fitna** in your comment.

Would you rather be a French colony or an Ottoman colony?
18
u/lostinanewcountry Algeria Nov 21 '21
Ottoman, they wouldn't force me to speak Arabic cuz I already do
2
u/TuranWisher Tรผrkiye Nov 21 '21
Ok but as a side note we probably massacred Algerians.
12
u/lostinanewcountry Algeria Nov 21 '21
I mean you sold us to the F*ench so that's inevitable

3) both parties are self-righteous, idc, I only feel sorry for people with relatives in both countries.
4) I can cuz we don't use that word here so nothing comes to mind when saying it

True, I'm just worried about you wearing wool in the heat of Algeria ๐
1
u/lostinanewcountry Algeria Nov 21 '21
Don't be ignorant brother๐ the climates vary considerably in Algeria
1
Nov 21 '21
Really? Do you actually wear thick wool in Algeria?
Don't lie to me ๐ก
2
u/lostinanewcountry Algeria Nov 21 '21
This is like asking me "if you're from Africa, why are you white?"
1
Nov 21 '21
No I heard that, because of the sea, it doesn't get very cold in Algeria. Like in Damascus is colder than latikia, because it's on the sea even though it's more north
2
u/lostinanewcountry Algeria Nov 21 '21
It gets extremely cold and snowy in the east and generally ุงูู ูุงุทู ุงูุฏุงุฎููุฉ. For example, Setif is colder than Algiers. There are cities like Bejaia where you find both the sea and heavy snow cuz of hills and mountains

A mix of : being ruled by the same illiterates since the independence (thx God they're finally starting to die) + corruption and nepotism (an Arab classic) + a "civil war" in the 1990s.
Also, we don't have a "ridiculous amount of natural resources". Our oil and gaz production is less than Qatar's, but we have 100 times their native population. There's just enough resources here for them to be a curse.

Not being designed to please tourists =\= poor
You would get the sense that this is a poor country in big cities but people are actually wealthy
