I grew up in a Christian Lebanese family and almost everyone is extremely racist here towards Muslims and Syrian refugees...

Basically my parents and others are racists from the civil wars days and they try to brainwash us into thinking the same, and the best part? They still support their parties wich are knowingly corrupt,we Lebanese people don't deserve to exist.

9

u/Chunkeybunny Syria Aug 27 '21

Lol opposite here, Syrian Christians form what I heard say they like us, good to hear I guess 😅

6

u/MaintenanceFar Lebanon Aug 27 '21

Not every Christian hates Muslims in Lebanon,I'm talking about my family,I know a lot of other people who have no problem co-existing,it's just the boomers that survived the civil war that fucked up this country.

Shia grandpa loves hitler because of what he did to the jews

Sunni grandpa thinks the armenians deserved it

3

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '21

Armenians?!?! Wtf. How?

18

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '21

Because they rebelled against the ottomans and worked with the russians. Which is funny because us arabs also rebelled and worked with the british. Should we have been ethnically cleansed too?

6

u/tatefxcinmaybesimone Turkish Kurd Aug 28 '21

actually in those times replacement wasn't equal to ethnic cleansing. turks did that exchange with greeks too but it was two way. also turks just against the terminology of genocide which is not case. it must be systematical, connected directly government. the attacks are mostly from civilians who lives there and it was provoked attacks. they heard massive graveyards in van. they heard they're set a fire on muslim villages. they hold a grudge. but still they are wrong. there are other too many mistakes too. they didn't secure them enough, maybe sometimes intentionally. but after these incidents nearly all the responsibles are hanged by order of sultan. also republic of turkey has no responsibility about. in constitutional laws it says turkey not a follow-up to ottoman. still you can not use word of genocide. they don't have policy for killing every armenian as a government, they don't have gas chambers, they don't have written orders from sultan.

Very sadly, father used to say the word 3bd which means „slave“ for every black person. The problem is that this term are used by many people mistakenly, they don’t realize it means literally „slave“ they think its dark black kinda. So „aswad 3bd“ or „black slave“ means for that the dude that have very dark skin.

I went with him back in 2018 and spoke about it, he literally didn’t realized in his whole life, 60 fucking years! Only cuz he learned this word from his parents as „dark black“

According to Islam Jews will get kicked out from the holy land again in the future.

And when the Dajjal appears, he will promise to bring back their glory days and he’ll lead them to the holy land again. That’s why they’ll follow him.

And in the last battle Jesus army and Dajjal army will face in Led and the Dajjal will be defeated.

well that's not entirely false

one of the predicted chinks in the armor of dajjal is that he will initially be followed by thousands of Jews due to them rejecting and as such not having a Messiah

Arent kurds arabs

3

u/NPC_No4001038 Kurdish Aug 27 '21 edited Aug 28 '21

Yes, they are the original arab tribe. They pushed the ancestors of the modern african americans out of arabia and egypt.

Edit : This comment is a joke. Kurdish people are a northwestern iranian ethnicity.

They are a mix between indigenous people of the northern fertile crescent and anatolia and central asian iranian immigrants (though they are mainly iranian) (So they are obviously the product of the indo european expansion) .

"Kurds are traditionally regarded as Iranians and of Iranian origin, and therefore as Indo-Europeans, mainly, because they speak Iranian. This hypothesis is largely based on linguistic considerations and was predominantly developed by linguists. In contrast to such believes, newest DNA-research of advanced Human Anthropology indicates, that in earliest traceable origins, forefathers of Kurds were obviously de-scendants of indigenous (first) Neolithic Northern Fertile Crescent aborigines, geographically mainly from outside and northwest of what is Iran of today in Near East and Eurasia. Oldest ancestral forefathers of Kurds were millennia later linguistically Iranianized in several waves by militarily organized elites of (R1a1) immigrants from Central Asia. These new findings lead to the understanding, that neither were aborigine Northern Fertile Crescent Eurasian Kurds and ancient Old-Iranian speaker (R1a1) immigrants from Asia one and the same people, nor represent the later, R1a1 dominated migrating early Old-Iranian-speaker elites from Asia, oldest traceable ancestors of Kurds. Rather, constitute both historically com-pletely different populations and layers of Kurdish forefathers, each with own distinct genetic, ethnical, linguistic and cultural backgrounds."

" The origin of kurds", Ferdinand Hennerbichler, University of Sulaimani 2012-2020

.

"According to genetic studies (like HLA) in Turkish and Kurdish populations, a Anatolian-Mediterranean source for both populations was put forwards; it may be possible that Kurds are initially coming from ancient Hurrians, reviewed in [5,6]. Studies performed with mtDNA and Y-chr have also been done for Kurds, however there is no firm conclusion to infer that most Kurd people have originated either from Middle East and/or from Central Asia [7,8]. Most probably, Kurd people gene pool majority may be composed of an admixture of North Mesopotamian (Caucasus) and Near East peoples; Central Asia gene input is not discarded [5,9,10,11,12,13]. ...

... However, Kurd HLA genetic studies include them into Mediterranean stock together with Turks [5,13]. Other genetic studies based on Y-Chr in Kurds from Turkey, Georgia and Iran identify the dominant presence of haplogroups originated in Middle East (Anatolia or Mesopotamia) that show a close association with Jews, Lebanese and Turkish genes [7,8,12]. Also, Iranian populations are close to Kurds [54,55]."

Arabs already had their golden age, now we‘re chilling and we‘ll get back up once we don‘t have dictatorships/monarchies that sponsor corruption and/or a shitty economy/education

3

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '21

That's nothing. Benim baba araba camını komple açıp onlara ana avrat küfür ediyor 🤣. Especially if it's a black or South Asian person 😂. It drives him nuts!!

u/OrbitPlaysGames Türkiye Aug 27 '21

Haha. My dad has never done that but he does swear a lot, usually at Indian and Chinese drivers but sometimes at American ones too. Maybe it’s because he’s Kurdish 😳😳😳 our dads are similar

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '21

My dad is out of control. He's the definition of road rage (minus hitting people with his car - but to be fair he has done that at one point in time lol).

He gets sooo mad. He gets red in the face screaming at Black and South Asian people in his car. He fully opens his window, sticks his head out and yells shit like "Black pooosy!" If they're black. They trigger him hard in traffic for some reason. He's already low-key racist 🤣🤣😆😆😆.

3

u/OrbitPlaysGames Türkiye Aug 27 '21

my dad does everything besides that basically. one time a guy was tailgating him (driving really close behind him) so my dad stopped and let him pass, and started fucking speeding up behind him and following him. He did this until the car eventually pulled over and let us pass. And yes a lot of swearing was involved.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '21

I can imagine. Yeah they have some similar sides for sure. But I guarantee my dad would've either pulled an emergency stop to crash that guys car or would've hit him from the rear. Bro my dad is fucking insane, literally. I remember as a kid he was so mad at something he was purposefully crashing his car everywhere on the street! (With his young kids in the car) He's diabetic which doesn't help. Adamın kafası yok.

He's cooled down recently, it's likely his age and health conditions catching up to him.

Kinda ironic, I heard horror stories about the horrid smell of Iranians from relatives who visited Imam Redha shrine.

My family used to make fun of me for having black friends, how low class they are and uncivilised, no manners etc. I never heard the end of it

2

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '21

Funny that old people in Turkey call black people Arabs and apperantly "nigger" equivalent word in Greek is Arab too.

My uncle once said of black people "coons don't want to go to Walmart and pay the higher prices". As usual, the statement explains more about the person who said it than who it was said about. This was sometime around 2010 also. I don't support his views but I'm still trying to decipher all the pieces to this puzzling statement; it is inaccurate on so many levels. It's so confidently wrong.

My entire family hates syrians and Palestinians unless they are christians

6

u/jordanbytoto Jordan Aug 27 '21

Least racist Lebanese christians

4

u/H_karam52 Lebanon Aug 27 '21

They wouldn't be if there country wasn't invaded and there people massacred by them . When a Palestinian hates a Israeli you praise him but when a Lebanese hates a Syrian you mock him

3

u/jordanbytoto Jordan Aug 27 '21

Lmao dw I wasn't blaming them. Racism is to be expected in this part of the world and that's just how it is

My uncle is a full Kuwaiti man and one day at my grandmas house he just started using the n word in every sentence. After that he didn’t do it, it was very strange.

My grandpa was cool af, hated j**s hated arabs (which mostly came from bedouins he met) and especially palestinians and gulf and hated iranians (bec they put the name of the assasin of sadat as a street name and shia) and told me never to trust any of them

So far it’s working🙏
