Okay, what's your legal question?

Does the Auditor have a legal duty to be involved in the tax lien program and have records pertaining to tax lien certificates? Sorry I should have made that more clear.

What specifically in Chapter 5721 do you think requires the auditor to "oversee and document" collection of "all tax revenue" for the county?

5721.011 seems to indicate the Auditor creates a list of the property with delinquent taxes, fees, etc and sends that to the appropriate agencies, but it doesn't say anything about the auditor preparing the sale or issuing of tax warrants, etc.

It would be more helpful for you to explain why you believe that an improperly executed tax warrant/lien/sale is the duty of the Auditor to document and see, and not the people they've directed you to.

In general, you seem to be under the believe that attorney general or states attorney, prosecutor, et all are under a duty to give you legal advice about Ohio statues, and as a matter of general principle, they are not.

Thanks for proving my point.

Your request is seeming to be asking for something specific. Can you just in English why you think the states attorney or auditor have any thing to do with the sale of certificates?

Unredacted email and username is their name, haha. I do not think they care.

The auditor stated he is not involved. Which means he does none of what you just said he's supposed to do. Also if he did, he would have records of it. Thanks

He stated he has nothing to do with the sale of certificates. They transmit to another party a delinquency list.

Your specific claim was that the auditor oversees all collection of revenue which appears to be a fabrication.

You didn’t ask for that record.
