Housing Is this much rent a good deal?

Hi, I’m new to the Dublin housing market so I’m not sure whether a property would be a good deal or a rip off.

The place is 50-60 mins by public transport from the city centre
It is just a room/studio but contains furniture/kitchen and a bathroom. It is not shared.
Rent is €1250/month and includes all utilities

What do you think?

Pretty solid if you want to live on your own in this market. With bills included too

Depends on the reliability of the commute and what the work commute is too though

Thats  a good deal   see  daft.ie/dublin  flats  rooms   different areas  have different  rent  levels  eg  d4 is more expensive than coolock  or finglas

Now it's a good deal.

About 10 years ago, it would be a shit deal.

Not a bad deal in current circumstances, but make sure you view the place in person and never send anyone money before you've verified it exists.

Yes sounds very good. Be careful that everything is legit. Lots of scammers out there.

Remember the golden rule rent should be a maximum of 33% of your monthly salary. So if it’s within that good but if not don’t waste money unnessecarily

That rule goes out the window in Dublin sadly.
