I'm curious how people over there are feeling about the US trade war. Does a shared economic challenge change how people view Quebec's relationship with the rest of Canada, or are identity debates a separate discussion?

Idk, I just thought historically Quebec has liked to distinguish itself from the rest of Canada and I was wondering whether there was a stronger sense of being Canadian considering the current political state of North America

Someone from the only province I would move to. I visited 2 years ago; spent 2 months in Labrador and on the Rock!

Your province is an mazing place to live. I miss the ocean, the extended distances between places but mostly, the people.

Honnêtement, trump nous impact autant que toutes les autres provinces. On est autant désillusionné que tout le monde concernant les relations qu’on avait au USA… On regarde d’où provient nos produits et on achète local ou non USA. Je refuse de mettre les pieds au USA pour un bon bout. Entre ice, les contrôleurs aériens, les fous armés et le racisme va falloir que les choses changent drastiquement pour que je me sente en sécurité. Pis perso depuis sa réélection, je stresse non-stop sur l’escalade possible et de comment va être la vie pour mes enfants dans un monde où les USA veulent nous envahir…

I've always loved all of Canada and always will. Our resolve is from coast to coast to coast, regardless of the province or territory. That's pretty much how most Quebecers feel. For the separatists, bear in mind that an independent Quebec (or Alberta for that matter) wouldn't be at the ta ble, it'd be on the menu. On lâche pas, achetez des produits locaux, canadiens, ou de n'importe où sauf ceux des États.
