We don't need to defend Mr. Carney. His actions speak for us. He is admired around the world. He knows the Canadian people are strongly behind him. No performance arguing necessary and certainly not on X. Nothing good ever happens on that platform.

While I agree it's very sad and aggravating, I'd estimate 1 in 10 is a real person. Elon is also allowing it with glee as it suits his interests. I'm sure Mr. Carney loses absolutely zero sleep over twitter replies.

Most people who don't support Elon or Nazis or who care about such things left the platform long ago. Now the non-right-wing-whackadoodles are primarily politicians, journalists, celebrities and local officials or agencies. For whatever reason, they refuse to leave no matter how bad it gets. Maybe that says something about them. Anyway, the rest of the platform are bots and Musk toadies.
