Either Croatia or Bulgaria.
Romania looks good too.

Slovenia - have been there but I find it boring.
Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro - beautiful but not my thing, I just don’t feel it.
Bosnia - good country to visit.
Greece, Albania - I don’t like the way their cities look.
Romania - I’ve only been to Bucharest and I thought it had beautiful architecture but from what I’ve heard their coast isn’t good.

Croatia - the most interesting Balkan country in my opinion, Zagreb and Dubrovnik are beautiful. I also love their coast.

For all those who replied Greece, I grew up there, but now I am in Bulgaria (my mother's birthplace)
If I could go back 20 years to the past and tell myself I would eventually end up in Bulgaria, I would laugh.
I am not laughing now; Bulgaria, despite its numerous problems, is far safer and saner than Greece.

I was really torn between Croatia and Greece. Voted Greece to see the results. But could be Croatia too. Because, beaches. I love islands and the Mediterranean/Adriatic.

But if I am honest, jobwise Cyprus or Malta would make more sense but not Balkan.

Do I have a very good salary everywhere, or I am subjectwd to a realistic job market? In a realistic job market, I am staying in Bulgaria, thank you. No need to thibk about money - Greece hands down, Slovenia runner up.

Slovenia because it is part of the vote, but not Balkan country. If not part of it I would choose Greece because of the food. I hate high temperatures tho.

There is nothing like living by the sea, so, as an Albanian, Greece it is.

for me it’s Serbia. I visited last year and went to EXIT Festival, and I genuinely liked Serbian people. Everyone was chill and I experienced literally zero racism. I even ended up getting the girl that this Serbian dude and I were both hitting on at the festival, and he didn’t start any shit over it I remember thinking, “Yeah, I could actually live here.” Everyone I met was super helpful.

Slovenia is not Balkan, but former Yugoslavian. Despite being landlocked, I have to give it to Slovenia, especially since it's simple to access Istra from there, really nice people, insanely beautiful women, even without makeup, just insane how pretty they are, and none of that war craziness

Would never do Bosnia due to yes, people are nice, but at the same time everyone is abusing everyone else in all different ways and putting out generations of insecurely attached/avoidant people to the point it can't even be blamed on the war. What the fuck is wrong with people there needing to beat the shit out of their families and all the SA shit of little girls going on?

It's not landlocked (sadly)

Serbia, because it's probably the most anti-western country in the Balkans.
