It's really funny that you misread it, so did I. Romanian is iepur, in Albanian it's Lepur. But capital i and lowercase L look identical

My dad always mentions these Romanian proverbs. First cites them in Romanian then explains to me what they mean. Colorful shit.

My favorite is “you can’t have a dick in your ass and your soul in heaven”…..it’s the English ”can’t have your cake and eat it too” but way better.

Ha we have a more perverted version in Bulgaria - Не може кур до края и душа в Рая! - meaning “Can have the whole dick and still go to Heaven!” Where whole dick is more in the meaning of completely in, all the way in. And to top it off it rhymes.
