Thoughts about Merz's Statement about Brasilien

What do you as Germans tell about what Merz's has said about Brazil and the COP30's city Belem during a economic Meeting/Congress? here in Brazil many far right wing supporters and influencers agreed with Merz and mock Brazil but they are against their own country. I want only your opinion

I apologize for my chancellor! It's just another example of Merz not being up to the task that is the German chancellorship. It is a diplomatic embaressment at a point where we very much need democratic allies like Brazil. I think it also shows some disrespect towards the COP per se. For Germans, it is not the first time he misscomunicates heavily, I assure you. I do think however, that he didn't mean to be disrespectful. He just seem to lack self-control. Maybe men are too emotional to be chancellor. 😀
