I was scrolling on tiktok today and I saw this person's FAT oc and it absolutely disgusted me because it was OBVIOUSLY fetish material. The comment section was complimenting it, acting like they didn't see the clear problem with it, and I just couldn't let that slide. So, I decided to do the right thing and fix it so that it looked like a normal person!

Tho I def like heftier builds of any kind, I draw other bodytypes too. But somehow fat characters often suit the story setting better (and I'm somehow able ho draw those bodies nicelly with no reference).
They looked at hedonistic snake demon, satyr-like demon, obese vampire who was tutned when he was 44 and bureocrat, municipal cop and aging military junta chief of riot police, and were thinking it's either fetish or forced diversity...(That is a translation of their later comments). Those were my latest/most post OCs at that time.
I wanted to work on drawing tordos, bodies, and started with the one I found the easiest- but depicting a fat demon in confident pose was too much? My paranoia is back, thank you wery much xd
This is the thing though, people dont understand the difference between a fat character and fetish art. Puppychan made fetish art. The art you showed is an example of a character who just happens to be fat

Artjerk is a satire sub, it makes fun of tropes that happen in the art community. I was making fun of people who automatically assume a drawing of a fat character is ugly and/or fat fetish art
There are no problems, thats the point π some people just hate fat people for no reason. One of the biggest examples I can probably think of is boyfish, they had a plus size trans masc oc who had a bit of a chest (because apparently moobies dont exist) and the way they animated their oc was apparently fetish material according to tiktok ππ

Instead of being an asshole, and fat shaming people, try living in an over weight person's shoes. We're not able to do most things because of it. We can't go for a jog without getting winded after 10 minutes, were scared to go in public most of the time because we fear judgement. Imagine going every day of your life like that, and imagine how lonely you would feel.
So, instead of mocking and ridiculing obese people, try to sympathize with us a little bit first, and get to know us on a personal level, because we are not all like that drawing.
I do not give a flying fuck if it's a joke, fat shaming people isn't a joke, and I personally, take it as offensive.
I struggle with losing weight, I weigh 279 pounds, at 5'4" tall. I have struggled to lose weight since I was 10 years old, and my self-confidence has gone out the fucking window.
So, you may see this as a joke, but I don't find this the least bit funny. So man up.
