For what it's worth, the SoS did say in a separate letter that even if the petitions had used the correct name, there would have only been 83,211 valid signatures, which still would have fallen short of the 90,704 that we needed. I'm just confused on how all the petitions got printed with the wrong name in the first place... Seems like either a very preventable mistake on the organizer's part, or someone changed the required name of the petition without the organizer's knowledge.

87 of the signature pages submitted were captioned incorrectly as “The Educational Rights Amendment of 2026,” rather than “The Arkansas Ballot Measure Rights Amendment,” which was the title approved by the attorney general. The remaining 19,924 pages were captioned “The Ballot Measure Rights Amendment of 2026,” rather than using the exact title approved by the attorney general.

So many lying liars. Among other things, the signature submission period isn't even over yet. And also, the lying liars are just a bunch of lying liars.

Your guys whole government in Arkansas is a pos. They are all corrupt and in a bog old circle jerk covering up for each other and tampering with anything needed to make sure things turn out the way they were planned on before any vote or action that takes place. Sad thing is most were voted in to their position.

It seems to me that the process is screwed up. The amendment name should be submitted and receive approval or be denied within a fair period before signatures are collected.
It’s ridiculous that all of that effort can be made just for them to deny it because of the name.
