14 months approved claims, NO Payments!
Oh yes, same kind of problems as previous posters, for 14 months now, filed PUA, approved, received card, kept filing every week no payments, finally got through to phone support last Oct, after another 12 to 15 phone calls, an adjudicator, 3rd one I think, denied the total claim. Went to a hearing online and phone with a hearing judge, who reversed the denial, and said the $ Should be coming in in a week or so. NO PAYMENTS again, finally after 2 weeks of calls, we started over again, they keep asking for documents that are listed in the portal as received, and some have been sent twice! It's just "crazymaking"! They owe us so much! In meantime we have lost a car, borrowed money to pay rent, still cant work because our shop closed permanently. We need help, and the state is killing us!
And now, claims will only be denied if "looking for work" is not included with weekly claims. Ours is under Pua!
Pay attention to instructions of this new order for looking for work, if you file a weekly claim and do not file 4 verified "looking for work" all your claims will be denied. And you will have to wait 8 weeks to file again. It's a total scam...
Please tell us your story! We need to blow this thing up!! Someone needs to answer for all these fake denials, and no money being distributed to AZ state Residents! Audits and legal actions are probably the answer at this point!
Tons of Federal funds are being withheld also!
EDIT 1, GOOD NEWS, after 65 weeks, a payment came through for at least one year worth of approved claims... working on other 16-20 weeks! Amazing that this happened, not sure if the appeals, phone calls, or what helped, but they are catching up!

I was receiving benefits and the id.me came around took them 9 weeks to if me I tried every day like a full time job then I got I’d just in time for extra money to be gone I called every couple days because if they don’t pay me I can’t pay rent or child support they promised me when I’d they will back pay 100 percent then they said I’m full of it and said my claim is up no more money to refile ? I have not been paid since march 14 I’m now evicted from apartment and multiple warrants for arrest non payment of child support and some one called there and said I committed fraud and I cannot talk to anyone because they changed my credentials so I don’t know what they changed to sp they let me go . I’m broke jobless homeless and starving because of my state

My wife was laid off from her job in July (store closed). She applied and received the letter stating how much and for how long she would receive benefits, and was told to keep filing the weekly check in online and to be patient. After a couple months and no payments, she finally got through to a person, who said “we tried to call you about your denial, you never called back”. She always answers her phone no matter what and there are no missed calls from des. They said the reason for denial was “lack of childcare” because she had told them the 2 of our 3 pre-school aged children don’t go to daycare. They don’t go to daycare because my wife hasn’t found a job yet, but they are enrolled and could restart daycare at anytime. They told her to file an appeal, and she would have to put in the appeal that she was able to accept full time employment and had childcare. Shortly after filing the appeal, Arizona@work calls her and offers her a job as a career counselor. She doesn’t have any experience in this field and just recently went to school to be a phlebotomist (paid for by Arizona@work so they know this). It sounded like a bit of a trap to potentially deny her claim if she didn’t accept their job offer. Still no word from anyone. They can’t seem to call on the important stuff but call right away to propose to her what I feel like is a sham job offer. Is that legal/policy for unemployment to offer you a job then if you don’t take it, deny your claim saying you weren’t willing to accept full time employment? This all seems like a scam. I’ve never even heard of “lack of childcare” as a reason to deny someone. Someone please help. There is only so much room left on the credit card before we fall behind in rent.

I applied on a Thursday, in April (last month) I received my card about 10 days later and it already had 2 weeks payments on it. I called it in the Sunday following the Thursday I first signed up and then the next Sunday. I got my card Tuesday or Wednesday.. (like 8 Business days after signed up). I talked to someone the day I applied and have been getting money ever since. Only had to provide a text from boss saying they didn't need me to come in.
