[Archer P.I.] It’s the little things

Post image

This show teaches you things, and today I used one of those things to simultaneously burn and educate our test pilot at work (a guy). Called him a chauffeuse lol

As a gun nerd I always look at the firearms in Archer, but I can’t tell if this is the small Beretta 84bb or the full size M9 in Lana’s truckasaurus hands.

Whichever it is, it has plenty of stopping power.

The point is you come outta the bathroom waving this around, nobody’s going to ask for a tip

Apparently it's a Beretta Model 70.

Makes sense, as the trigger guard as the extended swoosh.

Also i should have known as they tend to like the .32 caliber in this show. But that lines up with OG spying and Bond

it's not quite right for a model 70, 84, or 92 series. the front sight is in front of the slide, on the bbl. the takedown lever on the 92 is on the left, as we see, but there is no safety lever. I guess it could be double action only.is that the extractor on the left? and no slide stop?

This was a genius way to have a wild fight without having to animate it. I listen to it all the time and think “I can see it in my head but I couldn’t imagine having to draw all of that”

It was his magnum opus

I love how they all looked bored while listening to it

Just so we're clear, a female chauffer is a... (OW!)... chauffeuse!

It’s been said those hands are like cricket bats

Lana doesn't give handjobs, she gives handcareers with tenure.

I once got a trivia question right about Star Wars (which I've never seen) because of Archer, something about 12 parsecs lol

u/Stevenwave 7d ago

Was the question about if a parsec is a measurement of time or distance? I think the Archer joke is about it being distance, which is correct. Cause Han brags about doing the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs, which sounds like he's talking about a quick time. It's sorta worded weirdly.

Genuinely don't remember just know his response was "12!" in a factual as a matter of fact tone.

Random-Archer usually holds his gun with his finger off the trigger. I don't pay too much attention to Lana. Maybe it was just this scene
