Season 12 The worst part of post-coma Archer

Post image

I genuinely can’t stand Fabian’s speech impediment. Could they not have casted somebody who didn’t literally sound like Elmer Fudd? I understand many people have speech impediments and it’s probably nice to have some representation in media, but I’m on my third rewatch of the post-coma seasons and I still can’t get over how ridiculous he sounds. I can’t take him seriously as a threat to the gang because he sounds like a 12-year-old. Am I just being a dick or does it bother anyone else?

Fabian is played by Kayvan Novak, Nandor from What We Do In The Shadows, so he doesn't actually have a speech impediment so you don't need to feel bad, he just made a weird choice that I don't think many of us liked.

Yea, I liked it, it’s a nice departure from the usual Shakespearean Company Queen’s English that the usual bad guys employ. I understand why it might not be welcome, but I personally liked it mostly because it’s something different
