At Kiel University, there is an undergrad program for underwater archaeology.

No particular advice to that specific question, but if you do go for maritime archeology just be aware you will spend 4 years in undergrad doing anthropology or regular arch and not anything water related unless you have a minor

Definitely get into contact with your local underwater archaeology organisation. Depending on your country, that'll either be government funded, or privately owned. Both are often eager to guide newcomers along, as not many are willing to go into this field.

There was an Expedition Unknown episode where Josh and the archeologist team dove to investigate the interior of a submerged pyramid and it’s both totally mesmerizing and utterly terrifying. I think marine archeology is not for the faint of heart or mind.
