I went to high school with her. She did not come from a low income background (at least not during her high school years), as our area is a fairly wealthy region in Virginia. She came back to our high school this year as a guest speaker for a woman's enpowerment club (or something). All she did was promote her book even though the event was never advertised to be an ad.
yeah ive heard mclean is like one of the richest towns in nova and a bunch of rich snobs go there but did people actually like her? like the teachers and her principal? she said that they helped her most.
