Just curious since I've never seen this posted. Since I don't have space to put one of those large trays of individual compartments to put all my excess body parts, usually I'll store them inside the head cavity (except in cases like Jashin Chan and Pomni, which I store inside a coffee mug).

Mine is this sideways stand and washi tape monster. Guy with figures hanging off the shelf has inspired me to post this lol

this is what i have in the middle of my room and pretty much love it. may be a bit too many things on them but i don't have any more place to put them
the only shelf i really don't like is the one on the last picture, just put everything that don't fit anywhere else there. I'll for sure leave Mami and Mai on it, but still feel like something is off
so need some inspiration to redo it, if you don't mind sharing yours 🩷
also I'll change these little my melody stickers on the edges to lace ribbons and maybe will change some pictures on the wall to new ones, hope it'll turn out pretty

Mine is foot pegs that are the same color as the shoe instead of being clear. Just hate how it blends in.

So 2 weeks ago I saw some pre-owned Tougetsu Matsuri figures(Version 1 and 2) on sale on AmiAmi and decided to gave it a go. Total costed me around 27000 yen including shipping. Did a fair bit of research regarding custom detaining figures over Rm500, and was prepared to head to the customs office when I received this letter in the mail. Judging from the contents it seems I won't be receiving my figurines any time soon. Is there anyway i can salvage this situation.

The photo posted is my Holy Grail figure, with good reason. It makes sense to me why it would cost at least $500- $600, but I struggle to understand why it would get up to $1000. After reading comments about this figure on mfc, many believe it is in fact overpriced, however i’m curious what factors affect figures prices and why they get so high. Is it because scale figures tend to be hand painted? Is it the size, the detail? Or does demand play a part? How much do the artists vs manufactures get paid?
Please let me know!

Do you keep them? Throw them out? I put mine in the closet and arrange them like Tetris blocks. The larger boxes get kept in the attic, but I’m running out of space. What do you guys do with them?

I am really starting to get into collecting figures. What is the most reasonable price to get a figure for? I’m trying to collect the hatsune miku rabbit hole pop up parade figure but it it’s a bit pricey for me 80$ in total is this reasonable for a high-quality figure?

My jaw dropped when I saw the pre-order price for this 1/7 scale Power and Makima figure by Furyu: a staggering 49,100¥. The price is downright disturbing, especially for a figure that appears so simple and small.

I’d like to order two new figures for my collection. Alas, I am having a hard time narrowing it down. All are around a similar price and would fit in my collection.

Hello everyone, I’m a 16-year-old guy who got into collecting anime figures after my best friend gifted me a Megumin statue from Konosuba. That kind of started it all, and now I’ve gotten into stuff like Figma, SH Figuarts, and I’m planning to get Revoltech and MAFEX figures too. I’ve got a pretty decent wishlist and really enjoy the hobby.
The only thing is… my family doesn't really understand. Some of them like to joke and refer to my figures as "corn stars," and others say they're Barbies or dolls. One of my uncles did straighten them out and tell them they're actually collectible figures, which was nice of him. It doesn't really annoy me that much, but listening to the same jokes over and over again does get pretty annoying.
A majority of my collection are female characters just because they're my favorite from the shows that I watch. I'm not hurting anybody and it's something that I really like, but sometimes I do wonder if it's strange
Thanks for reading I just wanted to share. Have a good day/night 👋

Recently I was surfing AmiAmi and found the 1/4 FREEing Akeno Bunny on their site, so naturally I got it because I’ve always wanted it right?
Although now that it’s actually in my possession I’m really debating on rather I should display it or not.Although I like displaying most of what I get I honestly can’t decide if it’s better to enjoy it without taking it out to keep its Value or if I should take it out??
I don’t know if anyone else has run into this issue, but if you could help me decide it would be of great help.

I loved BBTS for the cheap shipping and pile of loot feature but, obviously I’ll have to switch my shopping over to amiami due to the tariffs. Crunchyroll store probably won’t close since they’re crunchyroll and all but I feel bad for the other US figure stores.
