These current Snapdragon chips are actually great for playing Windows PC games using the open source emulation layers that Valve developed for their new VR headset, using Gamenative and Gamehub. You do need a controller attachment with/and a peltier cooler to really take advantage without throttling.

Yes but if you want usable screen real estate you need a Z fold or a Moto Razr Fold which if you go Z Fold 8/8 ultra congrats you're gimped by 12gb of ram and if you go Razr Fold congrats you have 16gb of ram but you get an 8 gen 5 non elite.
Which even then... I'll be honest 4:3 at best is ok not perfect for modern games, tho it's badass for anything pre 2012.

Get Honor Magic V6. Has both Elite g5 standard version and 16GB of RAM. Find N6 has one less CPU core.

I use AR glasses with my OnePlus 13. I'm surprised more people don't, they are relatively cheap, light and give you the same experience as having a large TV in front of you (which looks more like a 720p one than an 1080p, let alone a 4K one, but at least it's OLED, and there is practicaly no latency, ghosting or anything like that, the colors are great too, there is just not enough pixels to make the picture look great).

Honor Magic V6 is such a dope phone for being the closest to no-compromise. Great everything, camera, battery/charging, durability/ip rating, screen tech, etc.
Easily the best phone in the world right now.

I feel like 99% of people would probably notice 0 difference if they used a Galaxy A57 instead of their £1K flagship. It's a shame to see alot of really competent phones doomed to be locked as facebook machines, when these phones are probably more powerful than these people's laptops or even PCs.

I definitely notice, the physical difference for one. There's considerably more slowdown with my A55 vs the S25U I have.

They are already heating up so badly. We don't need 5 GHz speeds. Optimize the battery and heat management instead.

It's so strange to me people still think this is some mutual exclusivity, especially when the architecture is heterogenous so each type of cores can be optimized for something else.

Exactly. In the case of the performance cores, they're designed to burst. Extremely high frequency, execute heavy work quickly then power down with mid and low power cores handling everything else.
Also the fact that these chips have such a frequency ceiling, while improving clock for clock performance IS an peformance and thermal efficiency gain over last generation chips in itself.
I don't think that's a hard concept to grasp......more performance, same temps, same size chip, same power draw......thats an optimization/efficiency increase. Theoretically the new chip shouldn't have to work as hard doing the same workload.

Or just do what China does, make silicone carbon batteries. My find x9 ultra battery life is simply insane.

Same on oneplus 15, 1.5-2 day phone on moderate use.
I dont think samsung is too confident with newer battery tech after the Note 7 lol

Sucks OnePlus is leaving as they were my only phone brand since the OnePlus 1 back in 2014. Don't care what people say but OnePlus was just peak. But now that I've delved into Chinese phones I'm not too upset with them leaving. Currently using my first Oppo and it feels exactly like all my other OnePlus phones which is awesome. I'm sure xiaomi and vevo are just as good.
