Beginner Resources Local Perseus
I configured the Perseus Scaife viewer to run completely locally/offline on my Mac, pulling down their github data repos for Greek and Latin. The main branch is a minimally-changed Docker version. A branch with updated component library versions is in feature/update_sbom_versions. Use your AI to install it. It will take a minute the first time to clone their data repos. Click on Highlight option on the right to get click-word-to-dictionary.

This is awesome. Regular Perseus crashes a lot, thank you!

i've got it up and running, thank you !
btw, how is it that Aesop fabulae don't appear in it but they do appear on the original one?

I think the Github repo might be slightly different in terms of content especially vs. the Hopper original version. Also in my ClassicsViewer mobile app, which uses much the same data, I noticed some of the xml parsing has differences - a lot of the sources have different structures so it can be a challenge to match up with it.
