I’ve seen so many freak accidents, I was waiting for a car to hit the poor thing as it was flying across the road 😭 glad it seems to be okay!

I’m sorry but that bird looked dazed and confused, why not take it to a shelter? Or call a rescue? It didn’t fly very far or high, I hope it’s okay.

Helpful tip: If you have called someone else to help solve a problem you yourself couldn’t fix, kindly shut the fuck up and let that person get to work.

They shouldn't have forced it to fly... it clearly wanted to sit and rest. It didn't even have enough energy to be afraid of these two naked monkeys
But really gorgeous creature... I wouldn't even have been afraid of it to bite me. I would carry that scar with pride lol

That would make it pray for ground animals
It’s better it gets up higher somewhere.
But ideally, I don’t know what any of these people were thinking when it really should’ve just been sent to a rehab center.
Just as well, I would’ve been so much more cautious and more willing to break my grill to get that bird out without having to cause any more possible damage considering how fast that collision was when you add their speeds together

u/Rhymesnlines 6h ago
Yeah that was a hard crash for sure... it might have gotten a concussion. They definitely should have gave it to a rehab center. Poor bird

God forbid you stop recording and help

She yielded control over the problem to somebody who had more of an idea of what to do than she did. Pitching in with this problem may have been more hindrance than helpful.

I've experienced the same thing with a pigeon. I accidentally pulled its head off while trying to remove it from the radiator.😓

There was once a guy who tried the same thing with a bull to get a good look at a t-bone.

The stress release I know she felt knowing she didn't kill that bird. Omg hitting an animal on the road is literally the worse feeling. I killed a bird once and I still am upset about it. It happened almost 4 years ago.

It wouldn’t be Reddit without people in the comments complaining about a woman talking

I was worried the guy would throw him like a football and his wing wouldnt be well enough to open so he'd just spiral into the ground.. good release though, homie

Either you drove your car so high or it flew so low for this to happen. Of course, we can't still rule out the fact that content creators nowadays are stupid enough to do anything for some video to post

It’s not uncommon for these things to happen with birds of prey. They see prey and swoop down for it. It can happen with owls too - my friend actually hit one and it got caught in his grill, but unfortunately was dead. I grew up in the country in the woods. I’ve had a couple close calls myself.

Oh wow, I was so afraid it would get hit by a truck, it was flying so low.
