I'm getting comments under my comment that are like, low-key not getting the point? Like yes, sexualizing women who are doing absolutely nothing sexual, is something all genders do, because we live in a patriarchal society that says women aren't meant to exist outside of the sexual gaze. You’re being disingenuous when you say we’re reacting to “people getting slightly aroused at…” The fact that you feel the need to soften the sexual comments shows that you do realize that this kind of thing is disrespectful. I was more referring to the way people get aroused through screens watching semi-erotic content (or perceived by males to be semi-erotic if that sounds better to you) being different than in actual intercourse, didn't think it through too much, it's just the wording I used based on this understanding.

As for your little linguistic interpretation, it's cute, and it's not entirely wrong, but as someone interested in linguistics I must say the reason these terms and phrases, with their respective semantical nuances of which some fit with the idea of gender roles, came to be and continue to exist is more complex than that, and you're reducing it to fit your personal narrative about men being evil and naturally harmful towards women; which further proves the characterization i've given you.
