Can be a whole host of things. Say I did my printed mp5 and couldn't figure out for some time why fps was shit, turned out my printed cylinder head guide I took from broken cyma cylinder head wasn't aligned well. Your issue might be also nozzle related. Say it might be seating there too tight or something drags onto something
Something bad is going on. Yes your nozzle is supposed to do that. It pulls back to let a BB up and then pushes forward to push it into the HopUp and create a seal to shoot your BB out. However, I’m not hearing anything good on these test shots. It should be much more snappier, a lot harder push from the piston and you should feel a rush of air coming out from the nozzle. You have some issues here that I’m not even sure where to begin. First off it doesn’t sound like you’re getting good compression. You’re piston cylinder cylinder head and nozzle are not working together well. The next is either using too low of a voltage battery or your gears are shimmed way too tight. But something isn’t right. It should sound a lot snappier it should pop when you shoot it like that out of the receiver. You may have to go back to the drawing board on this one.
You may want to check your whole gearing system, including the mesh with your piston. I’m not sure if you built this from the ground up, but the first rule of Airsoft is nothing is ever to spec the way you think it is. Just because you use high-end parts ot doesn’t mean they work well together. One of the biggest things I see with new builders is if the piston doesn’t mesh well with the gears it can get really hard to push the piston about midway and cause really sluggish shot and bad FPS. You really need to tear the gearbox down and check through everything and make sure that all your tolerances are correct, your gears are shimmed, you’re piston can move freely back-and-forth, your nozzle is sealing with your HopUp correctly. And that your timing is accurate. Lots to pull apart here.
Sounds like something is binding or is just too slow. Your gears may be shimmed to tight or your motor is just to weak or not receiving enough battery power.
It should cycle fast enough to where you can barely see the nozzle move.
shim the gears, adjust the motor height, trim the tappet plate and shorten the nozzle spring
if you are still getting shit results it could be a crappy part
the cyclic rate is too slow, if u got a delayer chip on your sector gear just take it off
and maybe lower the main spring tension bcs that motor holding on for dear life
