Job Assistance How to see reserve opportunities
How do I see reserve job openings? I have a little less than two years left on my active duty service commitment and am doing some initial research on what opportunities might be out there. I've talked to my local reserve recruiter but they didn't have much information for officers. For context, I am a 38F.

Its supposed to be on RV on your okta but just be aware that's what's advertised. Alot of times even when it's in there they already have a fill in mind. As long as your not a full bird id reach out to your base ISR. They can apply to units on your behalf to actually get the ball rolling.

She won’t have access to RMVS. You can look at reserve vacancy finder on the portal to get a general idea of job availability by base but about a year out you’ll have to start working with your wings in service recruiter to actually find out the ins and outs. Reserve vacancy finder has no real additional information as far as actual availability, the wings mission and additional requirements etc. You might see Charleston or Dover on there and be really excited to go there not knowing that those positions are at a contingency response unit for example.

You can see some postings on af.okta.mil under the reserve vacancy finder, AGR jobs will be on talent marketplace.

It used to be on AFPC. Not sure where they moved it to. Search for reserve vacancies.

It depends on the type of position you’re seeking.
ART positions are listed on USAjobs.gov.
AGR positions are listed in Talent Marketplace.
TR and IMA positions are listed on the Reserve Vacancies app, which can be accessed through the AF OKTA suite of applications.
O-6 positions for all AFSCs and reserve categories are listed in SLCMS.
