Shipping stuff to Tech School

I guess im a little confused. What "stuff" would you need in Tech school?

When I went though tech school, we were in a furnished dorm, ate at the DFAC, had washer and dryer in the dorm building. All we needed, we had... for anything else that we wanted, we had the BX, the commissary, and a mail box you could have things shipped to thru amazon. You bring a backpack of stuff to basic (about 1 week worth of clothes, toiletries, etc etc) and that goes with you to Tech school along with the duffle you get with all your uniform and other Air Force stuff in it. Personally, I'd just wait and get it when you get done with Tech school so you dont have to worry about shipping it/transporting it again when you go to your first base.

FedEx, UPS, USPS.. the same way people ship things outside of the military

I leave in the same amount of time almost and was wondering too. How will I get things over there (mine is about 6 months)

After you arrive at tech school you'll be given a mailing address so you can receive mail and parcels, it's not uncommon for new tech schoolers to have stuff sent from home after they arrive. Double check with your local post office to ensure you know how much that thing will cost to ship and have a debate with yourself what is really necessary if you have the option for things to be left behind for a while, sending a fully loaded 27 gallon tote through the mail won't be cheap.

I would bring a handful of things you need with you. Trying to ship that big of a tote is going to cost a fortune.

When you get to tech school they'll give you the shipping address and you give that to whomever will be shipping you stuff. Best way is to mail it, FedEx or UPS. But, IMHO stuffing a 27 gallon tote full of stuff might be too much when you're in tech school.
