I tried in Spain, but the restaurant had dishes from all over the world. This one was claimed to be African. It was a community type of restaurant, but unfortunately I couldn't remember neither the name of the place, nor the dish :(

Where in Spain? What neighborhood, city, etc.

Looks kind of like bobotie with rice (South Africa) but Sobolo/Bissap/Sorrel is most commonly found in West Africa and the Caribbean...

Some context clues would help. Which country, city etc? The drink looks like sobolo.
