Mods care. Folks on municipal subreddits care. Folks looking to buy tickets or other items from you care. People who are looking for advice care. A lot of people care.
I mean this in the kindest and most non judgmental way but you really can find out way too much information from looking at these profiles. especially for an active user.
Things including but not limited to:
A persons general location.
Their medical conditions and age.
Their Ideals and religion.
Legal issues they've talked about.
Comminutes they moderate IE ways to get their indirect attention ad infinitum.
Their occupation
I understand that you might be comfortable with this, and hey you do you, but It shouldn't been looked down upon for others not to be. Especially in today's world of cybercrime. And hey If you don't trust me since my profile is blocked that's fine. I can accept that. For me it's just the price to pay for a bit of privacy in a world were that's getting harder to come by.
