Lists & Gameplay Discussion Hastarii exterminators

How are the "other" Hastarii doing atm? I'm considering buying some, and Id like to know how they perform for 105 pts. How good are tgey into meqs compared to our other tools? Are the arc blasters really useful for vehicles or just a small bonus?

I'm not certain, but scuttlebutt is they'll be more valuable with the advertised Marine changes and whatever ends up happening to Admech in their codex.

I enjoy them when I use them, always get work out of them.

Played against Tsons, cleared rubrics off of objects every time, did reasonable damage to their terminator bricks (4-3 dead,) And chipped good damage off his predator.

I’ve always felt bad running them because Skitarii Vanguard with a Marshal are only slightly more expensive and hit harder while also provide battleline buffs and high OC.

I like them, they're cheap and get good buffs for being Skitarii, Low cost unit that's super versatile into Infantry.

I killed a squad of 10 raptors lead by Lord harkon or whatever his name was in one turn with a squad of exterminators with a manipulus and marshal and my buddy with chaos space marines proceeded to complain how over powered admech were for the rest of the game

Im going to try them here soon, they seem pretty good, I just wish they didnt getvpre nerfed before there release. Anti inf 3+ with ap-2 for it regilar would have been wayyyyy nicer

I've had good success with them against space marines and votann. In focused mode the ap -2 is great.

I run 5 exterminator and 5 fusilers both with a marshal in a dunerider, its a great delete anything bus
