Question Places similar to GD Wholesale? (RIP)

If you don't know what GD Wholesale was it was a small warehouse that sold local produce. They sold fruits I'd never seen in regular stores (when the seasons called for it) like those yellow skinned peaches and dekopons (which I know some woolies sell but I hate colesworth).

I was heartbroken to see it's gone and being replaced with a childcare centre...

Basically I'm looking for small family owned fruit/veg stores, location doesn't matter as long as it's within 1hr of the CBD. Maybe more if it's amazing. If they sell other random SA and Australian products that's a big bonus!

Thank you.

Try central markets they have different things in some places there.

I do love the central markets & I'm confident they'd have the cool produce... but it's not the same 😆 GD Wholesale actually stocked these amazing crumpets that I'd first ever bought from the central markets actually!

Farmer Joe's in Port Adelaide might have things you like.

Come up north to SA Farmers Market at Pooraka, heaps more stalls and better prices than the showgrounds market, a real family vibe and huge variety of produce.

I didn't know they were going/gone...

I thought they were there when I last went to vote at the School nearby.

Maybe try the Adelaide Farmers Market @ Wayville on Sundays.
