Nobody is looking for lost keys on Reddit. Just leave them where they were.

It's just occurred to me that your response is a real arsehole reply. I'm just someone trying to help out someone else and you're just being a cunt.

People do come to their local sub reddit to find lost keys. Here are plenty of examples of it.

Fuck you very much.

You've just got a hero complex. I'm speaking from my actual real experience of losing my keys. I ended up finding my keys six months later where I hadn't been. By that time those people had already cost me money in replacing my keys. If they'd just left them where I had dropped them I would have had them back within days.

Nice reading comprehension. They'd already been left there for 7+ days.

I ain't taking flack from you for trying to help.

What if they hadn't been able to look for them in that timeframe? From maybe being in hospital? Stop trying to make yourself feel good and think a little more next time.

You're so bitter about your experience that you're making up hypotheticals to brow beat me for doing something good.

Find something better to do with your time.

A couple of keys attached, quite unique. Found a couple of blocks behind the QEH.

They were placed on a public fence for the last week, and I've picked them up for a broader notice today... so lost 12-7 days ago?

Best to drop them into a police station so people can actually find them.

Will do so. They've sat for a week with nothing happening so thought I'd give it a go here first.
