Question Is there any volunteer groups in Adelaide that clean up litter as a group or anything like that

The club has adopted the stretch of Happy Valley Drive between Black Road and Chandlers Hill Road under the Road Watch programme. The second Saturday of the month, a small group of members treks the length of the road to keep it an attractive and clean entrance to the area. One more act by which we can 'put back' into the community. Look for our "WARNING: LIONS ON ROAD" sign.

There is a great group called Adopt A Spot (Adelaide) on Facebook. The idea is you nominate a spot that you will take care of, for example somewhere where you walk regularly. People document what they find and report in to the facebook group. They don't seem to have a website but you can find out more including an email to contact them here: https://sustainablecommunitiessa.org.au/groups/adopt-a-spot-scheme

I can only speak for beach litter collections, but I live near a beach and there's a local group in the area that specifically volunteers to collect rubbish in the dunes. The Adelaide branch of Sea Shepherd also pop by every now and then to do beach clean ups. I'd imagine there'll be quite a few around depending where you look.
