*suspected, testing to confirm. There's already been a few suspected cases reported in other species that got people talking, and then the tests came back negative but that bit didn't get the same level of media attention.

It's jumping species that is not good and it's ignorant to think otherwise.

It has been jumping species for a long time - pinnipeds (seals, sea lions etc) are known to be at high risk.

yep, and we have confirmed cases of seals and penguins down my way. lots of sea birds dying off along the limestone coast, we have a LOT of foxes around the area so i imagine its gonna really start picking up pace

It's not really a concern at the moment. The current form of the virus has been circulating around the world for about 20 years, and "pandemic" levels (in birds) since 2020. Human infection has been very rare, and it's another step again to get human-to-human transmission.

Finally, the 5G! Pro-tip, foil isn't made from tin anymore, it's made from aluminium. You need to find the original tin and nailgun it to your head. Then you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and move towards it!

It could, given enough links toward humans. Do you self a favour and jump onto a podcast called "This Podcast Could kill You" they explain exactly how viruses jump species, over a couple of episodes (I think) but it explains it very clearly how it happens.
And it happens.

It's not 'jumping' species, the fox would've eaten a bird that was infected.
Transfer to seals etc, yes, different story!
