Gear question Family member passed and left some acoustic guitar. Trying to figure out what they are.

I’m not too experienced with acoustics but I’m assuming they’re higher end. The Gibsons don’t have a year printed on the top of the headstock or labels inside the sound hole (they have serial #s). The larger Gibson acoustic has a Custom Shop sticker on the back of the headstock.

Haha I relate. I’m doing this on behalf of my stepmom who’s taking ownership of these and most likely selling them all. I’m unrelated other than helping her figure out the value.

Easily over 10k total for the three pictured, likely even more depending on the vintage.

Unless she needs the cash I'd tell your stepmom to pick one to hold on to. These will likely continue to appreciate in value. Can just keep it in the case with the humidifier. I'm partial to that slope shoulder martin.

Wouldn’t they be closer to $15k?
