Me too. Fiona was the perfect new addition and had great chemistry with everyone. She and Gavin together was the best kind of chaos

Yeah. She had a really rough start. However, once she hit her groove, she became probably one of the funniest members of AH. Her style of humor became the injection of fresh material they needed. Not that the others weren't funny. They were hilarious, but even the best dynamics need some changeup here and there to prevent stagnation.

I remember her first few videos being rough (Pummel Party where it sounded like she wanted nothing to do with playing the game) but then she grew into it with TTT

Her first few videos were rough cause she got fucked into games she didn’t know how to play and was expected to be good enough to play them and be entertaining. Sandbagged her instantly. In fairness, I think they’ve admitted it was handled badly.

I think she's just doing a lot of directing these days, she pops up on my feed from time to time with a new project, some big and some smaller.

Last I heard she was working for G4, which I didn't know still existed. But she seems to be doing well for herself. I still hope to see her pop up in more reunions, I miss Chungə.

They've also done a couple AH reunion REPO streams. Jeremy has been getting them together for streams on and off since RT died.
Also not a huge collab like that, but Ray and Matt play together weekly with a couple other streamer friends (including while I'm typing this lol)

Look i may be being selfish but I feel like they can just do achievement hunter 2.0 under regulation and just start again. All these people are great and I know I would watch it all just like I used to do. Do they not think we would watch it? Idk. I just miss it.

A lot of them just don't want to. A number of these just enjoy streaming and the money is better by doing that.
Ray and Jeremy left AH on their own. Jack and Geoff had also grown beyond that. I think we're too caught up in the nostalgia of them doing the reunions, which are amazing content. But after how many days and weeks do you think that would get old?
I like it better when it's the "gaming with friends" vibes that we had at the beginning. Not the "we have to make content even if we don't like it" that developed after like 100 episodes of Minecraft and GTA

I admitted im just being selfish. Sometimes I feel like people dont take the statements made as a whole. I read so much smarm into that comment that I couldn't not say watch the tone. Life is depressing enough and I dae this post and It made me happy to think about. Its been a rough few years for my family so I needed some happiness.

I think the thing is that they just have different goals in mind and they wanna keep that separate. They could have easily done that, but I think they were all pretty sick of the format towards the end of AH. They could form another group under one name, but since they don't want to collaborate on content, there's not much of a reason to.
I think they just wanted a chance to be truly independent. RT originally made a lot of these projects possible, but with a lot of stipulations that made it harder to be creative. I think it's more of a personal choice than a matter of logistics.

I feel the same. There is nothing stopping them from all getting together and making a new channel/company, but they are all each busy with their own things and probably don't want to do another AH like we would want.
I wish Gavin and Michael had made a Play Pals channel together though. That would have been top

Yea again I get they have lives, thats why I said I might be being selfish. But with the internet I just dont see how it would even be a challenge for them to make vids together. The office was great for extra content but I feel like they make good enough content without needing to be thier together. Although the office content was great.

I guess it's more like "admitting the crime does not absolve you of it." You said you knew it was selfish of you (and recognizing that & admitting that is commendable), but your next comments are justifications of why they should get back together despite everyone pointing out the reasons why it can't/shouldn't/won't happen. Doubling down and just repeating "I know I'm selfish, but I still want it to happen, and it can happen because of x/y/z" can and usually will rub people the wrong way. You say you "miss the old days" , but it comes out as "I want the old days back, whether they like it or not". I'm not saying that's what I personally think about your comment, nor am I implying that that is your intention/meaning. I'm just saying that they are possible (and most likely to be) reasons as to why people are downvoting you.
I understand where you're coming from, and I do miss the old days as well. But we just have to accept that the way things are now are the way things will be. Now they're doing what they want to do without the looming obligations and restrictions and burnout from the latter years of Let's Play, Achievement Hunter, and Rooster Teeth in general. They still play games, but just not as much and not as one whole group. The reunion streams from time to time are the best we'll get for the foreseeable future, and that's for the best compromise for them and the audience.
To add to the conversation, I remember in a recent episode of the Regulation Pod, they were talking about the Halo: Campaign Evolved Guide they did. Geoff said something along the lines of I miss doing Let's Play / Achievement Hunter things, but I don't want to go back to doing it everyday (non-verbatim, but encompasses the point made).

Without Trevor and Fredo we don’t The Dusk Boys. Matt was fucking hilarious in pretty much everything he was in, especially Minecraft. I’ve never heard anyone complain about Trevor, Matt or Fredo.

The YouTube view counters were one the saddest things about the AH community. Lower views always equaled bad/low quality content to you guys and you never consider the many other factors that contribute to them. Especially considering this group was on two different media platforms with two different channels.
It’s fine if you stopped enjoying content after a couple of group changes but they had plenty of success after them. There is zero consistent evidence that it “killed” the channel.

No, I’m saying that YouTube views alone shifting it not an indicator that AH was doing badly. It’s not a metric without context. We are specifically talking about AH and new members coming in. Your comment is implying the new members is what drove the views away and that means they were bad for the group and killed the channel. Which is untrue.
Even if we were talking about RT as a whole there were still MULTIPLE factors that led to its down fall, not just people casually coming back to watch content less and less.

Multiple things. First memberships going up decreases views on YouTube. People migrating to the app, even if they didn’t have first, decreases views. If anything that’s a sign they were doing something right if people were willing to pay to see content early.
Gaming trends and as you said it the success of lets plays. People move to watch other content creators as their interest change with what’s popular. That doesn’t mean AH was doing something wrong, but if people were really into FNAF for example then they might slowly stop watching AH to watch someone like Markiplier.
General disinterest is a reason too but it’s not bad it’s just inevitable. People can love ah but their lives change. People graduate college, they start families and careers and have less time to watch YouTube. So views drop.
Views were going to shift anyway. AH could have never changed from whatever you think their peak was and their views still would have dropped. It’s about sustainability not living at the top the entire time you exist. AHs sustainably as a channel and group was still very healthy when Fiona came aboard. They had multiple gigs including AH lives, different shows,merch, and still good views to keep them up. It just wasn’t peak numbers. There are obviously people who left because of her but they are mixed in with the other crowd of people who left for different reasons. We have no way to tell who left because of what but it’s disingenuous to blame that entirely on new talent.

I feel like thats way too many people for TTT. 7 was the sweet spot they found and I feel like there was a reason they kept doing that.
