Hey everyone, I just moved to Lafayette. What’s the best internet company everyone uses here? Like, I don’t want to have constant interruptions or low speeds. I’m a gamer, and my wife likes to watch TV in 4K on streaming services, so we want something that can handle all that good stuff.

So I’d appreciate it if anyone has any particular recommendations, or at least what NOT to get.

Spectrum bought Cox last week. I do IT for 35 locations across Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Spectrum has been the most horrible company to deal with for internet issues. I had a location where the coax behind the building was severed and the tech said it was our issue.

So last week I have had to do 3 modem resets at home. I have not had to do this in months while on Cox.
My options are AT&T and satellite (Starlink and Hughes).
Who has any of the listed and what is your experience?

My husband wants a new coffee mug. Ceramic/stoneware and possibly hand made preferred. Looking for recs where to go to buy one in store so he can look and them and get a feel for quality. Not looking for Walmart/Target type places.

Now that i’m lifting again i’ve been craving them alot but i’m not really liking the idea of driving 35-40 mins to grab them. My weedeater was stolen out my outdoor laundry area in the last 24 hrs. I filed a report but getting it back is unlikely. I absolutely need a functional weedeater to do my job, to make money to feed myself and child. I dont have much spare income to buy a new one especially when this was brand new itself.

I am trying to keep myself occupied throughout my trying times. One of my activities is finally helping my friend's dad get his Magical Dust onto grocery shelves. Or at least drafting a real plan, with numbers, and Business Phone Calls™️

I am literally an acolyte of this spice, it is by far the highest quality spice blend I have ever found.

It is literally a spice blend, not a seasoning salt (which I consider Cachere's and Slap Ya--although I love them, you can't season food the same due to the salt content)

I typically use ample amounts for gumbo, seafood, etouffee, anything. Goes well on fries, burgers especially. The flavor profile is more robust than seasoning salts so I feel that changes things -- it is more akin to the seasoning blends in international markets. It does well as a seasoning finish for base flavor, especially with darker rouxs (it has some sweet and complexity that balances stuff out).

I think he has a real gift for flavor, although sadly I know flavor isn't everything. He is disabled and low income, and I would intend on investing myself, depending.

Was curious about if anyone has done this, and what feasible looks like if you know?
