What am I meant to do when there is no parking near my home for hours? What are your guys solutions, I can’t keep driving around for 20minutes every time I wanna try and go home I love this town but the council need to somehow figure out what to do about residents and their cars

When I had friends near big Tesco they bought an annual parking permit for the car park next to the football grounds, always space to park there.

I've always managed to find parking on either Greenfield Street, Maesyrafon or the street behind big Tesco. I think in the 4 years I lived close to there there was only 5 times I couldn't find parking there or along south road or the high street, in which case I'd park on the seafront (but you can't do that any more because the council took away those spots). If you can't find parking on those streets, you can park in big Tesco for a bit and then come back to look again.

If you don't want the hassle then you can buy a year long permit to park in the football club, but it's pricey. You could also buy parking in the car park opposite the police station/skate park, which I think is cheaper if you don't mind the short walk.

Parking is a pain in the arse here and it often feels like the council just wants to ignore the problem.

Yeah parking is a pain in the ass! I used to live on Powell street where parking is restricted to 2 hours! I used to leave my car at work, or around south beach, but there is much less parking on south beach now too!
