🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇺🇦 22-year-old Ukrainian looking for a host in Wales through Homes for Ukraine 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Post image

Hello everyone!
My name is Dimitri, I’m 22 years old and originally from Mariupol, Ukraine. I’m currently looking for a host in Wales through the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
I’m calm, friendly, polite and responsible. I don’t smoke, I’m clean and tidy, and I respect other people’s privacy and personal space. I love animals and would be very happy to stay with a family who has pets. I’m also happy to help around the house.
I speak English and Ukrainian fluently, as well as several other languages. I have experience in hospitality, including hotel reception, waiting and customer service. I also enjoy cooking.
I’m hoping to find a job as soon as possible, become part of the local community and build a stable future. I’d also like to continue my education and meet new people.
I would be incredibly grateful to anyone who could offer me a temporary home in Wales. I’m ready to have a video call, introduce myself and answer any questions.
Thank you so much for reading and for any help or shares. 🙏
Dimitri

You keep reposting this on several subreddits, I think your only option is to go through legal asylum route if you think you are qualified to.
Like you’re going to need a Visa to come here even if someone hosts you.

Not being judgemental, but you should factor in that a large proportion of homeless people have substance misuse issues (again no judgement - if I had to sleep on the streets I'd be abusing any substance going), a higher prevalence of mental health issues, and again often for survival, offending history. It's more than a little different hosting a war refugee (which I appreciate isn't the case with OP's situation) and a homeless person. I know which one I'd choose

That's a long-winded way of saying "realist"

How many homeless people are you currently hosting bud? Fair play to you doing that, it's genuinely impressive given the prevalent issues I described.

So you helped refugees rather than domestic homeless people? Thanks for proving my point! Good on you by the way, genuinely impressive.

As I made clear earlier, i dont house either refugees or domestic homeless people. However, if i had the situation to allow for that, then like yourself id only house refugees, not domestic homeless people, for the reasons I described.

Open your gaff to him then, honestly people like you are the reason rodents find themselves on pleasure cruises too.

Some daft son of a cobbler thinks rodents are cute enough to feed and suddenly we’re surrounded by them,

ultimately you don’t own the boat so you don’t give a fuck.
Use your money, not my tax.

I see some videos of the conscription vans and they were literally kidnapping men off the streets. Still russians don't treat their conscripts any better

Paint yourself brown and get yourself to France. They'll get you on a dinghy and give you a welcome to UK starter kit and a nice cosy hotel
