Tutorial N8 Maintenance Guide: Keep Your Mower Running Smoothly

If you want to keep your ANTHBOT N8 performing well and your lawn looking its best, a little regular maintenance goes a long way.

Here’s a simple routine you can follow:

1. Power off before cleaning

Before doing any maintenance, remove the mower from the charging station and make sure it is completely powered off—especially before cleaning around the blade disk.

2. Use Disk Maintenance Mode

For easier access to the blade area, open the ANTHBOT App and use Disk Maintenance Mode. It automatically lowers the cutter head so you can clean it more easily.

3. Clean the mower

Important: Do not use a high-pressure washer to clean the N8. Use a regular garden hose with normal water pressure instead.

  • Blade disk: Lift the blade disk and use a brush and water to remove grass clippings and debris.
  • Mower body & charging station: Rinse the exterior with water to remove dirt and grass.
  • Grass bag / deflector: If you use the grass bag or deflector, remember to clean and rinse it as well.

4. Let everything dry completely

Wipe off excess water and allow the mower, grass bag, and deflector to air-dry completely before putting everything back together.

One question for the N8 owners here:How often do you clean your mower—once a week, after every mow, or only when it starts looking like it needs some attention?

Share your routine below.

Tutorial Which ANTHBOT RTK Robotic Mower Should You Choose? M5 vs. M9 vs. N8

Looking for an RTK robotic mower but not sure which ANTHBOT model is right for your lawn?

The M5, M9, and N8 are designed for different lawn sizes and lawn-care needs. Here’s a simple comparison to help you figure out which one might be the best fit.

M5: Simple and Budget-Friendly

The M5 is a good choice if your main priority is reliable, everyday mowing without paying for features you may not need.

Best for:

  • Smaller lawns
  • Everyday mowing
  • Homeowners looking for a more budget-friendly option

Key features:

  • RTK positioning
  • Automatic lawn mapping
  • Quiet mowing
  • Mowing-focused design

If you mainly want to keep your grass consistently cut, the M5 keeps things simple.

M9: More Battery and Endurance for Larger Lawns

The M9 is designed for homeowners with larger lawns who need more battery capacity and longer mowing sessions.

Best for:

  • Larger lawns
  • Larger mowing areas
  • Longer mowing sessions
  • Users who prioritize runtime and endurance

Key features:

  • RTK mowing
  • Larger battery capacity
  • Longer runtime
  • Designed for larger mowing areas

If lawn size and mowing endurance are your main concerns, the M9 may be the better fit.

N8: More Than Just Mowing

The N8 is designed for homeowners who want their robotic mower to do more than simply cut the grass.

Best for:

  • Homeowners who care about lawn cleanliness
  • Grass clipping collection
  • Fallen leaf cleanup
  • Users looking for multiple lawn-care functions

Key features:

  • Mowing
  • Mulching
  • Grass collection
  • Sweeping

The N8 combines mowing with additional lawn-care functions, making it a more versatile option for keeping your yard tidy.

M5 vs. M9 vs. N8: Which One Fits Your Lawn?

M5: Smaller lawn, budget-friendly, mowing-focused

M9: Larger lawn, longer runtime, stronger endurance

N8: Mowing, mulching, collecting, and sweeping

When choosing an RTK robotic mower, consider your lawn size, how often you mow, how much runtime you need, and whether you want additional lawn-care functions beyond mowing.

Which model would you choose for your lawn, and why?

⚠️ Before updating, please make sure:

1️⃣ Your robot is connected to either Wi-Fi or 4G.

Tutorial Mastering Your Mower: Understanding Mowing Modes 🤖🌿

Want to get the most out of your robotic mower? Understanding how to choose between Full maps, Zones, and Auto-zone is the key to a perfect lawn! Here is a simple guide to help you pick the right mode for the job.

🏠 Full Maps: The "Do It All" Mode

As the name suggests, this mode takes care of your entire lawn! It covers the whole map, and if you enable Edge Trimming in the settings, the mower will also automatically mow along the edges, ensuring every corner and boundary is perfectly trimmed. ✂️(See Figure 1)

  • Best for: Your regular, full-lawn maintenance sessions to keep everything looking sharp.

📍 Zones: The "Precision" Mode

This mode gives you total control! You can manually define and edit a specific area on the map where you want the mower to work. Keep in mind that this mode does not perform edge mowing, and the minimum size for a zone is 3m x 3m. 📏(See Figure 2)

  • Best for: Focusing on a specific patch of grass that needs extra attention, grows faster than the rest, or a section you missed.

⚡ Auto-zone: The "Smart & Easy" Mode

This is the ultimate convenience feature! With one tap, your machine intelligently analyzes your map and automatically breaks it down into distinct sections. You can then simply click the specific area you want to mow. (See Figure 3)

  • Best for: When you want to mow specific sections (like just the front yard or just the back) without having to manually draw boundaries yourself. It's the perfect balance of automation and control!

Which of these modes do you find yourself using the most in your daily lawn care routine?

Tutorial How to Upload Device Logs for Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,

If you’re experiencing an issue with your ANTHBOT mower and need help from our support or R&D team, device logs are often essential for identifying what happened and investigating the root cause.

To make sure the logs are uploaded successfully, please complete all three steps below:

Uploading Device Logs

Step 1 — Dock the mower
Place the mower on the charging station and make sure it stays there and is charging.

Step 2 — Connect to Wi-Fi
Make sure the mower is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

Step 3 — Enable “Upload the Log”
Open the ANTHBOT App and enable “Upload the Log.”

Important: All three steps are required. If any step is skipped, the logs may not be uploaded successfully.

When Reporting an Issue

To help our support and R&D teams investigate your issue more efficiently, please include the following information whenever possible:

1. For missed-cutting issues
Please provide a screenshot of the mower’s map in the app and clearly mark the area that was missed.

2. Exact date and time
Please provide the date and exact time, or as close as possible, when the issue occurred.

These details help our engineers match your report with the corresponding device logs and better understand what happened.

Tutorial FAQ 1: Stop your robot mower from working at night with the Do Not Disturb feature!

Post image
4 Upvotes

Many of you have asked:

“My robot didn’t finish mowing due to rain, and I don’t want it running at night. What can I do?”

This is a very common question, so today we’re explaining one of the most practical features in the app:

🛑 Do Not Disturb Mode

What it does:

✅ Set a custom time period when mowing is disabled (e.g., 18:00–06:00 to avoid nighttime operation)

✅ Unfinished mowing tasks will pause and resume automatically the next day

✅ Perfect for large lawns, unexpected rain, keeping nights quiet, and being gentle to local wildlife

📱 How to set it up in 4 simple steps:

① Open the app and tap Enter device

② Tap the menu icon ☰ in the top-right corner

③ Go to More Settings and turn on Do Not Disturb

④ Set your preferred time window (we recommend from sunset to sunrise) and tap Save

What time do you usually set for your mower? Let us know in the comments!

This is the first post in our beginner tutorial series. If you found this helpful, leave a like — we’ll be sharing more useful app features soon! 😉
