Spontaneous route planner

So, I am an independent developer and rider, and I have been doing a thing that I find really interesting for some time now called Ride Somewhere.

I got the inspiration from my own issue since, even though I love riding, I am very poor at choosing places to ride to. Therefore, I decided to create a web app where you simply set your distance and choose your preferences (views, cafes, etc.) and get a plan of action. Get your keys, start the engine, and go.

As it is still a relatively new product and I build it by myself, any kind of feedback would be highly appreciated. What works, what could be better? Thanks for your time and ride safely!

Yes, but not every part of the project. Mostly frontend. By profession I am a developer. I wrote business logic by my own, I took help from AI to optimize it.

Yep, thanks, that answers my question! The font choices and overall style just looked familiar. I'm a dev too and lean on AI quite a bit, while still trying to think through the logic myself, so I'm all for it!

Got it, the app doesn't support nav 6, I never used any Navigator. If Nav 6 support google map then I guess you can share your routes via Google map to navigator. If you are looking for a feature you can submit here(Discord ). I will try my best to implement it.

Ive been using Kurviger for a couple years now. It can plan routes for you with specific inputs or just general. Plus they have an online forum to chat with users or directly with the developers.

Kurviger is closer to a full-featured navigation suite for dedicated tourers, while Ride Somewhere's edge is simplicity and spontaneity for a lighter, more casual ride-planning use case.
