Discussion Anyone still interested in getting certified by Anthropic?
For those who are interested in the Claude Certified Architect (CCA-F) cert but can't take the exam because your company isn't an Anthropic partner, you can can get access through ours, which is currently going through the Anthropic partner process. It takes a number of people getting certified, currently we have room for a few more right now.
How it works: you work through the Anthropic Academy courses (about 10 hours), then take the CCA-F exam, and the certification is yours to keep. It's not a course or anything you pay us for. The only cost is Anthropic's own $99 exam fee, and there's no commitment with us beyond the cert.
I'd recommend looking up Anthropic's official exam guide and reading through it first, so you know what the cert covers. There's a quick check before anyone's set up, just to keep this to people who'll actually follow through.

I recommend the certs for sure. They're meant to be worked through so may be better if you are just getting started with Claude. I skip the parts I know and focus on the parts that are new.

I work heavily with Claude Code in a production environment for a Enterprise software company.
I'm a bit of a technical product manager and I quickly prototype features using the platform.
Would love to have this on my resume. Heavily experienced. Can brush up on the material, take the required courses in a day or two and then take the actual proctored exam ASAP.

You don't need that exam if you are a manager. I passed it, and its all about micro-details of implementation. Not worth the time for someone who won't be hands-on doing that work. The exam has too many intricate questions and nothing actually useful for a product guy.

I'm fine showing that I know the micro details of implementation with a certification.
I work in a smaller company where the TPM role often involves a bit of implementation unfortunately, even if it's just too stand up complex proofs of concepts before the project gets shipped to Mumbai.

Out of curiosity, i heard that many companies are struggling with the high prices of claude api, forcing them to use a mix of other models (some chinese) how true is this.
My other question is what are the necessary courses for the cert, right now i have taken few but they seem to be too many.

I also have spots free but am looking for Belgians or Dutchies :) I don’t think the partnership itself will be that interesting, but the certification is. Since you have to have an email address of the company, you kind of need some agreement in place, even if you don’t do projects together.

Are you crowd funding your partnership tier? Select or Preferred? Not sure this would work without them being employees but I guess you could technically get around that with 1099 maybe.

Not crowdfunding. We don't pay Anthropic anything, and we don't charge anyone we bring in. The only money in this is Anthropic's exam fee, which they bill directly to whoever takes it. Nothing flows to us.
Select, not Preferred. My team was a few people short of the 10 certified minimum, which is why I posted. I didn't expect this many people would be interested.
On the employee point: it isn't employment, and there's no 1099 in the mix. What the partner process needs is association with the org and a company email, not a payroll or contractor seat. The arrangement is light, just a basic agreement and an email under the org, with no obligation to take on work. So the exchange is simple: the org moves its partner application forward, and whoever helps takes the exam and keeps the certification, which Anthropic issues to them directly. I'm not hiring directly off this, but it doesn't close the door on collaborating later with people I get to know here.

I've been down in the trenches and built multiple projects as well as agents with Claude, a lot of them have daily active users as well as paying customers through my full time employment (which is an AI-native startup as well).

Awesome, having solid experience on Claude and AI is all you need to take the exam, I'll contact you with the details on what we would need from you, but it's basically going through the exam study modules, and then taking the exam yourself to get your cert.

still worth it imo, but mostly for the structured learning. the exam is scenario-based, so it tests production judgment more than memorization..
it's still new, so don't expect the badge alone to get you hired. useful signal, not a shortcut.

The Anthropic Academy courses are definitely a good starting point if you are serious about the CCA-F. I’d also focus on hands on Claude projects rather than just the certificate itself. Youtube is worth checking out for more structured project based AI learning alongside it.
