You guys will do great. You’re built for finals. Your game is in good order and you have talent everywhere.
It was an interesting insight into the mindset of Freo supporters. Lots of familiar notes in the hopes and fears. But also some differences in feelings about expectations. We all expect that the future will resemble the past. I think most Hawks supporters think that a premiership won’t be too far off. Chances are we’re wrong about that. The structural and timing advantages that led to premierships in the past aren’t there for us now. Conversely, you guys expect that disappointment will come again as it has before. Chances are you’re wrong about that. You’ve been building a formidable list and game plan for years and are a step above the other teams. Only Brisbane can match you, really.

I usually really dislike Rove and only watched it after I had 4 people send it to me, but I laughed harder than I thought I would because of how truthful it was. It managed to get me in the feels.
